How the three coverage levels work
Light covers 57 destinations across Europe, Asia and Oceania. Standard covers everything in Light plus 13 more, including Japan, Brazil and Mexico. Max covers 99 destinations and is the one you want for South America, Africa, India or the Middle East.

Light covers:

Standard covers everything in Light, plus:

Max covers everything in Standard, plus:
Andorra, Argentina, Bahrain, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, India, Iraq, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Qatar, Réunion, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tunisia, Uruguay. One quirk from our supplier: Greece is covered on Light and Standard but not currently on Max. If Greece is on your route with Max, tell us and we will sort you out.

The honest bit
Streaming services are throttled to 2Mbps on these plans. Everything else runs at full speed. 2Mbps still streams video, just not in 4K. Maps, messaging, calls, uploads and browsing are all unthrottled.
